Today’s positive… received invitation to another local writers group with focus on reviewing and providing feedback on each other’s work. Looking forward to my first meeting
Today’s positive…love discovering a new author. Getting into Rebecca Freeborn’s Hot Pursuit. So far really enjoying it.
Todays’s positive…doing the laundry. Love hopping into a freshly made bed with clean sheets fluffy pillows and comfy doona. It is only 8.30 but I am ready to hop into bed with a good book 😄
Today’s positive…joined the RWA (Romance Writers of Australia) last week and got invited to join the google chat forum. Lovely bunch of supportive writers with a wealth of interesting topics and info. Liking it heaps so far.
Today’s positive….celebrating #loveyourbookshopday by spending time at my local Harry Hartog store returning home with this new bundle. No prize for guessing what Im doing tonight #HotPursuit
Todays’s positive…a gorgeous Sunday spent working on some content writing and just pure relaxation at home. Gotta love ’em.
Today’s positive….tonight was my first book club evening. I almost didn’t go.
The last couple of weeks have been frantic with work and writing submissions. I was desperately trying to get through the book that I had downloaded on Kindle. I have downloaded a few lately and to my horror I only today realised I had started reading the wrong book. How embarrassing!
But I went anyway and had a lovely couple of hours with a great bunch of people in our local bookshop. Plus I managed to promote our upcoming writers festival and leave poster and cards at the shop.
Always a silver lining somewhere…
Today’s positive…..booked myself into a bookclub evening at a local bookstore next week. Got the book ‘The Hate U Give’ by Angie Thomas…now I just have to read it 🙂 Looking forward to a weekend full of reading and writing.
Today’s positive….after a somewhat down start to the day feeling a bit lonely. You know when everyone else seem to be busy doing interesting things and you have nothing planned looking down the barrel of a full day by yourself.
But after house clean, gym, leisurely coffee, grocery shop, content planning for our festival site, couple of queries sent off to editors, novel formatting and finishing current book The Outsider…..I feel relaxed and at peace tonight. Sometimes a day spent being productive puts a smile on your dial
Today’s positive….indulging in an evening of reading The Outsider by Stephen King. That guy knows how to write page turners.
Anyone else a Stephen King fan?
