Having fun and learning along the way
Today’s positive came after a day of missing my youngest daughter after out talk yesterday. Felt down about her living so far away in SF. Till I got knocked back to my senses when seeing a news clip of a mother who’s daughter just passed away. Her words “half my heart went with my daughter when she passed” really hit home.
My daughter is happy, healthy and in love living in SF. How lucky am I to be able to still talk to and visit her.
Today is exactly 1 year since a good friend passed away. It was sudden and shocked many of us.
It was lovely to share dinner tonight with friends in memory of our friend. Good friends are so important in life
A perfect afternoon walking the track at Relay For Life. A community event raising money for Cancer Council, celebrating life while remembering loved ones lost.
The human spirit is amazing.
Just watched a news program about a woman who first lost her triplets born way too early. Went onto to have another two children then her husband developed brain cancer and passed away. During all of this she, and her husband when well, continued to raise money for the neonatal section of the hospital by organising huge charity fun runs.
Her positive words stuck with me “there is always hope, even in tragedy”
