The emergence of new life. Struggling against my not so green thumbs and patio life this snowpea is pushing through the challenge. Gives me hope.
Finding joy in the simple moments in life like an early morning beach walk enjoying the winter sun.
Today’s positive…it’s great when your friendship is strong enough to accept the ebs and flow in life, and that we can be honest when something annoys us.
Today’s positive…getting up early this morning for a mobile photo workshop at our local beach. So gorgeous out early as it slowly starts getting lighter and another day begins. Special time.
Today’s positive…commuting to work or driving to familier places we tend to take the same route; the road we know. But it often means we go on auto pilot and don’t notice our surroundings. Tonight I had dinner with a friend after work which meant a bit of a detour. All of a sudden I noticed the houses, the parks and the shops along my way.
We should change our routines more often. Get out of auto pilot and enjoy the moment.
Today’s positive…watching the sun setting after a productive and very hot Saturday catching up on domestics, editing a friend’s short story and stocking my fridge with delicious fresh food. Nothing satisfies more than feeling a sense of ‘having achieved’.
Today’s positive…enjoying the cooler weather in Sydney. Sleep is so much better when it’s cool rather than tossing and turning in the heat.
Out early before the heat sets in
Today’s positive…after a big but productive afternoon with my writers critique group it’s nice to kick back with a favourite author. Especially when enjoyed with a glass of red on a balmy summer evening.
Today’s positive…Feeling quite proud that I have maintained these daily positive thoughts for all of 2018. The year is almost over and I am wondering if I should continue again in 2019. Intentions were only for a year, but I must admit the project has grown on me, and I love how it has made me focus on the positives in my life.
What are your thoughts?
