Today’s positive…. after receiving an email from an old Danish school friend telling me she has just been diagnosed with breast cancer I am reminded of how precious life is and how it can all change from one second to the next. Being healthy and appreciating it is a definite positive.

Today’s positive….writing up the newsletter for my local writers group every month is fun. Sent it out tonight. I love doing the research for the content and hopefully it helps improve my writing.

Today’s positive….my young daughter at 27 telling me she likes her new found crows feet! Made me smile knowing she is happy and the lines around her eyes are from smiling ‘too much’ rather than old age.

Today’s positive….tonight was my first book club evening. I almost didn’t go.
The last couple of weeks have been frantic with work and writing submissions. I was desperately trying to get through the book that I had downloaded on Kindle. I have downloaded a few lately and to my horror I only today realised I had started reading the wrong book. How embarrassing!
But I went anyway and had a lovely couple of hours with a great bunch of people in our local bookshop. Plus I managed to promote our upcoming writers festival and leave poster and cards at the shop.
Always a silver lining somewhere…
