Today’s positive…..it is exactly 30 years today since I gave birth to my first born. Such an amazing day , a new love never experienced, a new journey as a mother. So happy to call this beautiful woman my daughter Happy Birthday to my girl ❤️

Today’s positive….after a full day of wintry wet weather I enjoyed coming home from work, turning on the heater and making a big pot of soup. Something really nurturing about soup making.

Today’s positive….indulging in an evening of reading The Outsider by Stephen King. That guy knows how to write page turners.

Today’s positive….spending time with my daughter in early celebrations of her 30th next week. Enjoying a lovely lunch and girly shop for her presents. She is now all smiles and mum’s bank account a little lighter 😄😄 But so worth it 💗

Today’s positive came after a day of missing my youngest daughter after out talk yesterday. Felt down about her living so far away in SF. Till I got knocked back to my senses when seeing a news clip of a mother who’s daughter just passed away. Her words “half my heart went with my daughter when she passed” really hit home.
My daughter is happy, healthy and in love living in SF. How lucky am I to be able to still talk to and visit her.
