Today’s positive…the beauty of flowers always brightens my day. This orchid, a gift from my sister, just keeps on blooming.
Today’s positive…this morning I chatted to my sister in Denmark, excited about her first grandchild due in three weeks, as well as my daughter in San Fransisco, excited about her wedding in September. 2019 is shaping up to be a big year!
Today’s positive…chatting to my sister in Denmark tonight hearing the excitement in her voice talking about her daughter’s pregnancy. Love how tiny little humans can bring such huge joy.
Today’s positive…seeing new flower buds forming on the orchid my sister gave me, when she was visiting earlier this year. Living in Denmark her visits to Sydney are rare, but always treasured. Seeing her orchid about to bloom makes me feel like she is still here. The presence of loved ones can be felt in many interesting ways.
Today’s positive….to read the banter between my daughters in our messenger group is a joy; the oldest on a holiday in Japan and the youngest doing a short roadtrip across the US. The adventures and the fun both are having makes me smile. So glad they are having these marvellous opportunities.
Travelling is a great educator and such fun.
Today’s positive was chatting to my sister via messenger. Two sisters on opposite sides of this earth sharing our lives, hopes, frustrations and beautiful moments. 1.5 hour well spent this afternoon filling my heart and making me smile. ❤️
In spite of it being my sisters last night here in Australia and having to say goodbye to my daughter earlier today now on her way back to SF, I now sit on my veranda feeling so grateful for the absolutely beautiful time we have all had. We have truly created some awesome memories that will be carried in our hearts till we meet again.
Back at work today after 4 glorious days off….positive??? Hmmm…..
Returning home to my sister with a cuppa ready and now organising dinner. I love ny sister 😁😁
Picking up my sister from the airport tonight. Super excited! She will be tired after her 28 hour flight, but I have no doubt we will still be chatting till our eyes fall out.
