Today’s positive… received my first full structural edit from my editor, and I am thrilled with the level of constructive and in-depth report I was sent. So much work to do but it feels so good to have some direction and guidance. If you need an editor Jessica Trudel is certainly recommended.
Today’s positive…feel good about getting a chunk of editing done on my novel, Secrets In The Lakes. Sometimes it feels like it is never ending, but I know I will get there.
Today’s positive…feeling good about starting the rewriting of my MS. First chapter done.
Today’s positive… an all round successful and inspiring day. Our writers festival went super smooth and my consult with Lex Hirst from Pantera Press was extremely helpful. Feedback was very positive and some excellent constructive tips on tightening it up. I now know what I need to do next and Im feeling motivated and keen. But tonight its feet up and glass of wine for this exhausted but happy girl.
Today’s positive…booked myself in with a self publishing consultant, Joel Naoum from Critical Mass. I have been going back and forth on what to do next with my manuscript. This will hopefully get me on track. Feel very positive about this step.
Today’s positive….on a roll. Another writing submission finalised. This time for The Next Chapter. A great initiative by The Wheeler Centre in Melbourne. Exhausted but feeling good.
Please send some positive winning vibes my way 😄🌷
I just finished the 3rd draft of my manuscript!! Feels great to have finished.
Now I think I’ll print it and read it as a final last check before I start sending it out there. It’s exciting….and immensely scary too.
An absolute perfect day filled with the people and activities that I love;
Face talk with my youngest daughter in SF, time spent reading through my novel, afternoon with my oldest daughter visiting art gallery in Sydney and chilling in the Botanical garden. A wonderful Easter Sunday; good to be alive.
First round of editing of my manuscript done and it feels great to have reached another milestone. Thanks to ProWritingAid its relatively easy. Now onto second edit.
