With technology so readily available to everyone the world is indeed shrinking. It’s so awesome to be able to chat to loved ones halfway around the world. This afternoon my sister and I both made a cuppa and enjoyed an hour long chat. She in Denmark and I here in Sydney. I love it.
I did a similar thing with a friend of mine the other day. She is in Queensland, me in East Sussex.
It certainly makes staying in touch a lot easier 🙂
Especially UK to Astralia – I keep in touch with my brother living on a bank of the Swan river in Perth and my late brother in law and I collaborated for several years to collect and publish my late sister’s poetry – they lived in the beautiful Blue Mountains – all impossible without the technology, happy blogging, very enjoyable.
Thank you!
Yes UK to Australia is indeed far apart. Both Perth and the Blue Mountains are beautiful places, and worth the long flight.
indeed, spent 6 weeks in Oz a couple of years ago. We flew to Perth to see my brother, then got on the Inter Pacific train across to Sidney, then to the Blue Mountains to see where my sister’s poetry came from, then back to Sidney and Adelaide to catch the Ghan train up to Darwin. One of the holidays of my lifetime, great country.
