Today’s positive…a session at hairdresser always makes me feel better; reading while they wash, cut and colour away the greys 😊
Today’s positive…been listening to Marie Kondo’s book on tidying your house. She may be quite fanatic and unsual, but she has some good points. I’m inspired. Sock drawer done 🙂
Today’s positive…the beauty of flowers always brightens my day. This orchid, a gift from my sister, just keeps on blooming.
Today’s positive…it’s great when your friendship is strong enough to accept the ebs and flow in life, and that we can be honest when something annoys us.
Today’s positive…getting up early this morning for a mobile photo workshop at our local beach. So gorgeous out early as it slowly starts getting lighter and another day begins. Special time.
Today’s positive…feel good about the short story I wrote today for our writers group anthology. Still have another month to tinker and polish it to final draft before submission. But happy with today’s effort.
Today’s positive…Friday night’s dinner and drinks with girlfriends. Great way to finish the working week.
Today’s positive…this morning I chatted to my sister in Denmark, excited about her first grandchild due in three weeks, as well as my daughter in San Fransisco, excited about her wedding in September. 2019 is shaping up to be a big year!
Today’s positive…commuting to work or driving to familier places we tend to take the same route; the road we know. But it often means we go on auto pilot and don’t notice our surroundings. Tonight I had dinner with a friend after work which meant a bit of a detour. All of a sudden I noticed the houses, the parks and the shops along my way.
We should change our routines more often. Get out of auto pilot and enjoy the moment.
Today’s positive…love it when I get into a book where you just can’t wait to turn the pages. Chris Hammer’s Scrublands is exactly like that. I’m hooked.
